Philippine SMS rates to go down effective Nov. 30, 2011

The sms charge between two networks will go down from Php 1 to 80 centavos based on the memorandum released by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). In fact the three big telecommunications network had already sent a letter to NTC that they will abide by the Circular Memo 02-10-2011 effective November 30, 2011 so cellphone users will be expecting a much lower text rate now as compared to the usual Php 1 charge. This information was confirmed by the NTC Deputy Commissioner Delilah Deles last Tuesday November 29, 2011.

Philippines - 6th placer in the 26th SEA GAMES

The 26th SEA Games (Southeast Asian Games) was held at Palembang, Indonesia last November 11 to 22, 2011. Philippines had a history already of being the overall champion when it hosted the SEA Games way back 2005 or others may call as the 23rd SEA Games. This time around the skills of the Filipino Athletes were once again tested to defend what they had started in their specific fields of events and bring glory to the country. Unfortunately if I am not mistaken this is by far the worst performance in terms of gold medal tally wherein we only had 36 compared to previous SEA Games when the country earned more than 50 gold medals.

Here is the complete medal tallies per country where Indonesia bagged the most number of medals.

Globe Telecom Broadband Issue

We have been experiencing an unstable connection from our broadband internet since June of 2011, we always called up the hotline to inquire about the intermittent problem that we had encountered and the reply is always the same, they don't know because the technical specialist for Globe Telecom in their hotline is concerned only of making the report and a simple trouble shooting. They always have to say that for the details on why we have an unstable internet connection will be answered by their technician on the field and the truth is I don't know why they are calling themselves a technical specialist for broadband. Then about the information which is supposed to be relied to us by the field engineers or technicians, honestly we did not receive a single call from them. I'm hoping that Globe Telecom, one of the largest internet provider in the Philippines would really make the necessary action to improve the services and assistance they are giving to their customers.

A further look on Google+ and Facebook

For months now the Google+ user population is continually rising and that what Facebook should look into. Eventhough  the latter is still the leading authority in the social networking world that wouldn't change the fact that someday  another site would grab that spot. I stumble into a certain website with an uploaded image of the in-depth comparison of Google+ and Facebook. I just totally forgot what site it was but nonetheless I would just have to share that image here in my blog but it won't take credit for the image below.

How to easily get approved in Google Adsense

Google Adsense is by far the most popular ad revenue program for your online content. In fact once approved, it is just easy to use or incorporate in your website or in your blog. But bare in mind that you still need to follow the terms and conditions for example, you are only allowed to place at most three ad units per page and you should have a content that does not violate the said terms and conditions. Failure to follow means termination of your account and base from personal experience they are constantly monitoring every account. Furthermore, you are not allowed to click your own ads for it is still a ground for the termination of your account.

Although I'm using a different ad revenue program in this blog but I do have Google Adsense placed on my other websites. Usually it takes one to two weeks to get approved or not but I have discovered an easier way to be approved in less than a day and this is by using Weebly. Google Adsense is supported by weebly.com and its actually a site wherein you can create your own webspace or website. After registering into weebly just click on Account and look for the external association and then you can find there Google Adsense. You will be given two options whether to use your existing Google Adsense account or create a new one. Both of these options requires an email address. If its your first time then you have to choose create  a Google Adsense account, provide your email address and then afterwards check your email for the instructions.

Mindanao Peacetalks: A Sham

It wouldn't be the first time that the Philippine Government tried to negotiate in a peaceful manner with the group of bandits/terrorists in Mindanao. Of all the three main islands of the Philippine Archipelago, Mindanao has the most reported unresolved cases of violence that resulted to a long history of conflict against the government. Both sides are claiming that they're actions are justifiable and that there ideology should be respected. Well that's fair enough!

Several peacetalks have been organized by different administrations just to resolved and lessen the casualty between both sides but in turns out that every peacetalks is just a sham. It didn't last long because these Moro Groups in Mindanao are insisting that the region belongs to them and they should have control over it. On the side of the Philippine Army, why would they give in to the demands of these terrorists when in fact they are the law enforcer and part of their job is to deal and defend the country to such lawless groups.

The present Aquino Administration's approach to this situation is to have a series of Peacetalks like the one they have in Japan with the MILF leaders. The question now is whether this is effective? In my own assessment to this current situation, just like the rest of the peaceful negotiation with the past administrations, it's a SHAM and it think it shouldn't be dealt in this manner because these Moro groups don't even care to respect what was being agreed upon (I'm talking about the ceasefire). There will always be a faction from these Moro Groups that won't obey the agreement. What kind of a leaders do they have if they can't control their members or perhaps they knew what was going on but they just tend to neglect or don't even bother to care that they have cross the line based on the ceasefire agreement. To President Aquino, as much as I would like to resolve this in a peaceful manner but I think the best way for you to do is to declare an all out war to these Moro Groups. Several of our army have been brutally killed already by these groups, isn't that enough to back out from the agreement? How many more lives will be scarified just for the peacetalks to work? Remember Mr. President, there were already casualties of war, love ones killed for these so called peacetalks. How can you sleep at night knowing that there are families undergoing pain and agony that you didn't even give justice on!
