A Versatile Genius

Besides being a propagandist, Rizal is also called as a versatile genius. Here are just some of the things that Rizal has been able to do during his lifetime:

1. Ophthalmic surgeon

Rizal is famous for this profession -a practicing ophthalmologist and that he was able to cure his own mother’s cataract. Rizal was known to have trained under prominent European ophthalmologists- Otto Becker and Louis de Wecker. He did practice the professional backed in his hometown in Calamba Laguna, while he was in Hong Kong and while in exile at Dapitan.

Just do it!

What are we waiting for than go all out to achieve our true potential? We have to take all news as for our better, to take us along to another level having learned the lessons. Even death is a temporary parting; those that depart will reunite with us at another shore, hopefully a better one! We continue to live on our ideals, carry on where they left us. Even what we consider to be setbacks are just stepping stones to success. If stock and property prices are in the dumps, they are just buying opportunities for those who bided their time; though for others they are losses. Some are zero–sum in effect; few lose for others to gain. However, those most important in our lives, that build societies for the better, those that unite us, are infinite. They include love and compassion that are inborn.

We need to look at our problems in the year 2012 as possibilities and opportunities for building a better world. We have seen it all in the last few years; we can set a clear agenda to progress towards unity in diversity, without man-made divisions of every permutation and combination. The creator and nature do not differentiate us, but we do and are easily manipulated by few. The challenges are exciting to overcome when our future is within our cusp. Let us use whatever resources we have to reach out to higher ideals that touch our hearts. When we know what we aspire for, then what holds us back? Let us overcome our negativity and then we are well on our way; onward, forward into realms of endless possibilities!

Count the blessings

1. Goodness trumps: The basic goodness outshines the negatives everywhere. The modern tools of information technology have united humanity everywhere. Though it has aided the evil too, the good is outshining them with commonality of purpose that is clearly evident to find peace. Even those who were part of the evil, like some involved in bombings in Indonesia, have started fighting against the forces that misguided them.
2. Benevolent nature: Despite dire warnings, we are mostly able to overcome challenges of natural disasters. Looks like we are given grace period to correct our ways!
3. Economic turnaround: We have learned the harsh lessons from our excesses but may not be enough still; we tempt fate again with a hope that bitter pills can be avoided! But the lessons of living beyond our means, borrowing from future generations, are made clear enough. It is plain bad karma that we should avoid at all costs.
4. World is united more than ever before: Despite public posturing, major powers are united like never before. They know their common enemy, not each other, but those everywhere that want to create havoc, those that are against peaceful common citizens!
5. Writing on the wall: There is only one way ahead; united we stand, divided we fall. The leaders have to act on this premise; they can even be followers of the clarion call resonating around the world. Make deals for peace as people have had enough of rhetoric that divides them!

The Wonders Of Urine

Urine is considered a waste of the body. But today, with the discovery of many alternative treatments and medicines, urine is now used to promote good health. Let us take a look on the wonders that urine has in store for us.

Urine is sterile. Contrary to the notion that urine is dirty, experts say that a normal person's urine is generally clean. Urine therapy is now used even by world renowned athletes. A very popular boxer makes drinking urine a part of his training. He says that it conditions his body in preparation for his upcoming fight. And this is true indeed, there are many people that drink their own urine and their health dramatically improved. We just have to know the proper method of drinking urine as a form of alternative therapy.

First is that you must drink your OWN URINE only. Do not drink other people's urine. The reason behind this is because each one of us have different physical and chemical characteristics inside our body. The experiences that a person acquired in a day, combined with the diseases and viruses that attempted to invade our body is neutralized by the body and then released as urine. This means that urine has the potential of being a natural alternative to immunization. As we all know in the process of immunization, the body is subjected to neutralized and weak form of viruses or bacteria. By introducing it to our body, the body will adapt to the changes and will form a protection whenever that particular virus or bacteria entered again in the body. Drinking your own urine is like immunizing yourself.

I expect many reactions to this article but what I have written in this article is facts and is backed by medical research and books that you can access just by searching it on the internet.

Dawn of the New Year brings us hope

How to retain happiness?

One of the successful methods to retain happiness is gaining our inner peace through meditation and prayer. This habit enables us to find out the positive attitudes in us and to choose the right track in life.

Dawn of the New Year brings us hope

A New Year is for introspection and choosing the right path. It is to shape the path of life by burying the negative attitudes in us. What happens to us does not make us unhappy. It is the attitude that we approach it makes happiness or unhappiness. Resolve in the New Year to choose positive side that leads us to real happiness. Make the New Year a happier one.

Happiness and sorrow are our choice only

We make the move or decisions every day according to the situations that we face at that time. We constantly go through various situations and circumstances that compel us to choose and take decisions which end in happiness or sorrow. They influence our reactions and feelings. Our moods have a strong impact on our decisions. When we become slaves of our moods we actually lose our freedom of choice. Some decisions we make happily as they suit to our moods. But some move or decisions make us hesitate or unwilling as they are not suitable to our pleasant attitude. We always choose to think and relish about the happy events and we do not or refuse to choose to think about unhappy events.

After all, what is happiness?

It is our feeling of inner peace and satisfaction. When we have no worries, fears or obsessing thoughts we feel that we are happy. We love to do things when we win, when we gain or when we achieve something that we value. These situations make us happy. If we analyze, we can find that happiness is the outcome of positive events. We may sometimes feel that this happiness is temporary. It is because we allow external circumstances to affect that happiness.

Happiness is yours

Every second in every day is a link in the chain of time. If every day is made happier than the previous day, the whole life becomes happy.

Can we make our daily life a happy one? Happiness is nothing but a matter of choice. Happiness or sorrow we bring to ourselves. We make our life happy or unhappy through our attitudes in life. Every move that we make in life brings us happiness or sorrow. Our attitude plays an important role in choosing the move that we make.

We Found Love feat. Calvin Harris

[Narration:]
It's like you're screaming, and no one can hear
You almost feel ashamed
That someone could be that important
That without them, you feel like nothing
No one will ever understand how much it hurts
You feel hopeless; like nothing can save you
And when it's over, and it's gone
You almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back
So that you could have the good

Yellow diamonds in the light
Now we’re standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
What it takes to come alive

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
But I’ve gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Shine a light through an open door
Love a life I will divide
Turn away 'cause I need you more
Feel the heartbeat in my mind

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
But I’ve gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Yellow diamonds in the light
Now we’re standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Characteristics of a Good Home Nurse

Home care nursing emphasizes the innate responsibilities such service to people requires. Before making the final decision and formulating plans to undertake a home nursing career, it is vital that the aspirant take a closer look at him/herself.
Certain personal characteristics are essential if the prospective home nurse is to compete a course and then go to a respected and fulfilling career. None of the characteristics enumerated really takes precedence over another, although some may need to be developed further as one begins his or her career. However, in terms of various kinds of personalities and situations one may encounter in his or her daily work, all of the characteristics listed are highly desirable.
  1. Liking for people
  2. Responsibility
  3. Stability
  4. Desire to learn
  5. Determination and Adaptability
  6. Stamina
  7. Organizational Ability
  8. Cleanliness of Self and Environment
  9. Foresight

The Importance of Caregiving

Is there any good news about caregiving? Yes. Many family caregivers say it is the toughest job they ever had, and yet the most rewarding. Dedicating yourself to an elderly relative, spouse or partner, or loved one certainly affirms your loving nature. Any illnesses or injury may limit a patient's mobility and dictate the degree of dependence upon others for recovery. The patient would rather depend upon the members of his or her family than on strangers in the hospital.
Home nursing encourages the patient's self confidence, competence and independence. This allows him or her to make his or her own decision, no matter how simple or minor. Likewise, it allows the patient to make decisions that control his or her life. It also lift's the patient's moral and mental outlook to speed up full  recovery.
Caregiving often helps reorient a family (family level) or neighborhood (community level) around matters of enduring value such as faith, prayer and love rather than on material issue that often dominate home life. Once the dependent person dies, people who helped care for him or her, generally, are generally more confident that they have "done well". They have "been there", they know what the person went through, and they, the caregivers, were loyal, trustworthy, and kind.

The Philisopy of nursing practice

The foundation of nursing practices is a genuine positive regard for a human being. From such basis, the practitioner develop a respect for his or her own personal dignity, which is reflected in his or her regard and care for another human being. He or she perceives his or her patient not as a carrier of disease, but as one person, within a family constellation, who is afflicted by physical and emotional pain. The nurse is cognizant of his or her patient's often unspoken distress in not fulfilling his or her social role.
Such a worker cares for his or her patient directly in relieving emotional and physical pain. He or she provides for the continuity of care in his or her direction of other care workers, and his or her supervision of their activities. With an emphasis on maintaining the patient's health status, the nurse teachers the patient and the patient's family about the illness, what can be anticipated, how to care for the patient, and how to prevent such illness. These services are rendered not only in the hospital, but also at home, in the clinic, and in the newly established community health center.
Involved with such a total philosophy of nursing care, the nurse plans his or her individuality for the patient, calling upon resource persons as necessary in meeting the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. In realizing that the status of the patient will fluctuate, the home nurse continually reevaluates his or her progress and alters the plan of care accordingly. He or she must also continue to evaluate his or her own professional growth. He or she reads or attends workshops or enrolls in formal coursework to ensure learning and professional growth.
The home caregiver's goal is to assist the patient to re-assume full independence within the latter's social framework. He or she is actively involved in forming a healthy community. The caregiver with such a philosophy of nursing practice is aware of, and genuinely respects, the integrity of the unique person who is his or her patient. Self-respect serves as an impetus to his or her continued growth as a professional person having a vital role in the community.

The Theory of Care

In a broadly conceptualized theory of care, there are three major ideas about the process of care:
  1. Caregiving is both a physical and an effective process.
  2. Caregiving is relational, a process that cannot be separated from people's past or present experiences with each other, or even anticipated future experiences.
  3. Caregivers are witnesses to the people they care for. That is, caregivers are said to be eyewitnesses to the pain and vulnerability of people for whom they provide care.

Many Perspectives

Perspective is an interesting side of this. Of course there are many sides to any story and the perspective of the writer matters a great deal as often does the opposite viewpoint.

Each view ultimately adds quality, each builds to to an improved understanding. Some of-course are sponsored by the needs of corporations and others by the needs of individuals; political views and the needs of non-profit organization are all important in the grand scheme of things. You may disagree with the other person, but that should spur you on to improve your opinion and how you can express it better.

Improving how we express ourselves is a part of this whole issue about style and quality. We should not be slaves to the keyboard, but use the keyboard to improve life and society in some small way.

A Matter of Style

At the end of the day it seems to this commentator that style matters most, but then there is a question of what makes style? Certainly quality in relation to the content is vitally important. it would be nice to think that poor quality articles will be ignored and good quality ones read and acted upon.

Of course style is not simply about the visual appeal, but about the things that are said and ultimately it is the combination that is of vital importance to any reader.

This is what I find of grave concern in childhood today. People have become used to quick-fix solutions that make things worse in the long run. In show biz being in-style is only of fleeting importance it is about the pizzazz of the moment, and not something of long-term benefit. The show-biz version of style has nothing to do with long-term development of humanity. Show-biz style is nothing to do with real style or class in society.

Old vs New

When being young everything seems like it is open source. Sometimes a youngster may feel that he/she can do anything, that anything is possible. Modifying everything for reaching perfection can be one of the goals that old people may find obsolete. The main thing on which people focus today is material perfection.

Old versus new can be seen as the known struggle between generations. Many old people can become unaware of what the youngsters want and need and they may think it is the time of retirement for them and they can become selfish and manipulative.

Many of the differences can come from the way of living of each individual, from the way everyone was raised. While some where raised in a poor family, where lack of everything has made them inpatient and nervous over time, others may have been living in a rich environment, with a lot of expensive things.

Of course, it may not be a matter of wealth only, because there are many other aspects involved, such as the way the parents treat their children, the entourages in which an individual grows as a teenager, school education, parental education, etc.

Some people develop certain habits after they mature and these habits may become part of their lives forever. Young people can be ambitions enough to desire a change and make everything possible in order to bring the change in their lives. It can be quite difficult sometimes, because of old people who want to maintain their habits and ideas, even if these habits bring no benefit. Tradition is a positive thing, but not always.

Of course that older people may have more experience and education, but that doesn’t mean they are always right. However, most of them are trying to impose their way of living to their children and this can be seen as a selfish behavior same patterns are maintaining from generation to generation for many families.

In many cases, reading a lot and becoming more aware of all the things around can make people wake up to the true values of life, which can be love and compassion. Instead of criticizing everything that youngsters do (of course, it doesn’t mean that all critics are bad, on the contrary), parents and grandparents could look at themselves first, see what they have realized.

Judgments can be justified if the persons who express them are respecting what they say as well. If they made mistakes, there is no point in criticizing others for the same mistakes that they did and that they were not able to fix themselves.

There has always been a struggle between generations, but it exists only because some people, no matter if they are old, or young, are not opened to what other people want and they don’t listen to other opinions. Even if both generations may be guilty, the main guilt is owned by older people. Since they are more experienced and educated, they should be aware of the stages through which the younger persons go through, even if their experiences can be different.

The Deciding Battle

If left alone, greed will trump ethics as none wants to spoil the party, bell the cat! We are stoking the fires through our weak attempts and believing that things will sort themselves out in the end. Our failures will take their toll in terms of the suffering of common citizens and the fraying of societal bonding thereby. A life of much promise will be left unfulfilled. It is a sad state when the greed of few sets back the majority’s will and yearnings for a better life for no fault of theirs. Is it how democracy should function? It ends up as more a mockery of the term! As Gandhi said; there is everything to meet our needs but not the greed! It is our bounden duty to change direction so that we don’t blow our chances due to ignoring repeatedly the lessons of history! For every day lost, we pay the price with compound interest. Ethics has to triumph more often and not lie dormant and raise its head only after greed has runs its regular course!

Individual Initiatives

As things stand, no one will have the gumption to rein in effectively all the greed. At best, they can caution us, but to say thus far, and no more, is too much in this political climate! There are just too many to promise the moon to get to power. What they do thereafter is clear enough through our experience, but we are still carried away by endless promises and hope! So individual caution is the best, bide our time till others have had their fill to their hearts’ content and learned their lessons again!

Ethics and Greed

Ethics lies dormant when greed captures the stage! The former plays second fiddle when the rich live it up with their make-believe, fancy lives. I am reminded of an answer when given an option to choose; eternal happiness, or millions of bucks but with misery. When greed is at its height, some will be tempted to opt for latter, the millions, as it could somehow override unhappiness, despite the options making it clear in bold letters, not in unreadable prints that we find in some legal documents that we sign in a hurry! One bank officer even told me not to waste time, as I cannot even change an error in spelling! Take it or leave it, as simple as that!

Unfettered Capitalism

Capitalism is a sacred cow! Maybe, the fallout's from the earlier failed, barbaric systems have left harsh, indelible marks on our psyche. Never again the old ways, agreed; but what prevents us from acting against the excesses, curbing unjustified, irrational exuberance which can bring the whole house down? We face total collapse when few make hay even as the sun sets on others! An overpowering show of greed is always a no-win anywhere, anytime. We fall easy prey with such an attitude; as we are ill-prepared when high velocity winds hit us with increasing fury through our folly!

Trust Deficit

Derek and Clive Ad NauseamImage via WikipediaSociety has to bond to last. It is never easy as the resources that many are after, are limited, finite. However, that which is overlooked - ethics and compassion - gels us, is infinite, inborn and free! But, human nature makes us go after those that glitter from the outside. And we pay the price and repeat our mistakes, ad nauseam. After all, the herd mentality is difficult to shake-off and tough to question either. We know where it leads us to, but all the same we allow ourselves to be led. Unfettered greed leads us to ruin repeatedly despite the writings on the wall. Or maybe, those who warn us are not above board either!

Different Systems of Linear Equations

Consistent System
A system of linear equations is consistent if it has exactly one solution. Their graphs have one point of intersection. If the first slope and the second slope are the slopes of the lines, then the first slope is not equal to the second slope.

Inconsistent System
A system of linear equation is inconsistent if it has no solution. Their graphs are parallel. If the m1 and b1 are the slope and the y-intercept of one equation, and m2 and b2 are the slope and y-intercept of the other equation then m1=m2 and b1 is not equal to b2

Dependent System
A system of linear equations is dependent if it has infinitely many solutions. Their graphs are overlapping. If m1 and b1 are the slope and y-intercept of the first equation, and m2 and b2 are the slope and y-intercept of the other equation, then m1=m2 and b1=b2
Note: Systems of linear equations are also known as simultaneous equations because these equations represent a conjunction of conditions, which are to be satisfied "simultaneously"

Math FYI-1

The word "Cartesian" came from the name Rene Descartes, the French mathematician-philosopher, who introduced these coordinates in 1638.

Handmade Goat's Milk Soap

Goat's milk soap is gentle on the skin. If properly made it does not contain the harsh chemicals, including petroleum, found in some other soaps. Keep in mind these are things used on our face and hands every day.

Handmade goat's milk soap contains glycerine that is often removed from other soaps to be used for more profitable products. Glycerine is a natural moisturizer found in goat's milk soap.

Goat's milk soap also contains the natural emollients, vitamins and triglycerides, found in all milk. These also make goat's milk soap better for the skin than regular soap. It is often safe to use for people eczema, and is very moisturizing for anyone with dry skin.

The best goat's milk soap is made from fresh goats milk.

Health Advantages of Goats Milk

Goat's milk contains 13% more calcium than cow's milk.

Goat's milk contains 25% more Vitamin B than cow's milk.

Goat's milk contains 25% more selenium (an anti-oxidant) than cow's milk.

Goat's milk contains 47% more Vitamin A than cow's milk.

Goat's milk contains 134% more potassium than cow's milk.

Goat's milk contains 3 x more niacin than cow's milk.

Note that goat's milk is lacking in folic acid so many goat's milk products are sold with folic acid added, this would be important to watch for if the goat's milk is for babies, or toddlers.

Fave Social Networks?

Facebook

Facebook is one of my favorite social sites that I connect on a regular basic. To me it is one the easier one to navigate. Not only is facebook one of the most popular sites for people, but for me most of my family and co workers are on the site.

Facebook does have games on there for people to play besides talking to people by chatting or posting something on their wall. Their mobile app as a video chat what you can use.

Twitter

Twitter is another one of my favorite social network that I like to use. Mainly I use this for promoting my pages on a regular basis. I do occasionally do tweet other things about other things or messaging to other twitter followers or other things. You can follow businesses, people or entertainment places (like television or radio stations).

You can follow people, businesses. You also can control who follows you. If you know them and have no problems with them you can let them follow you. But if you are leery about the person you can block them from following you.

Foursquare

Foursquare is actually a check in social media site. You check in different places and you can become mayor of the place (just on foursquare) and earn badges. If you have friends who have foursquare besides you, then you and your friends can be friends on foursquare and if you notice that one of your friends checked in near you, you can, if you choose drop by and say hi.

Foursquare is also unique in a way where some businesses may offer something like a discount or something by checking in on the same visit or in so many visits or offer something to a person just for mayors of the business.

This is also another site where you can control who you want to be friends with. People can request for being friends, but you it is up to you to if you wanted to be friends.

Myspace

Myspace was once the most popular social network around. I still use this site but not as much as I used to. It still has some of the games like facebook. But it is used for more like a social entertainment site where you can listen to music from different artists.

Google+

Google+ is one of the newest social media site to hit the web. This is one of the sites where you can actually group people into circles. You can have a circle for your family, one for your coworkers, one for your friends and so forth. You can video chat with your friends and family. Also you can upload pictures on here like most of the other social network sites.

You Tube

You Tube is of my favorites as far as watching different types videos, from music to watch pets and other types of videos. You can create an account to upload your own videos to the site. People can subscribe to your page so they can see when you upload new videos. You and others can ask each other to be friends like and other site.

Web Apps?

Over the years internet has evolved from static content to more and more dynamic content and now to rich internet applications. Active applications or web applications are similar to software which you install from the CD, for example G mail is a web application. G mail is like a desktop application; email client like outlook, yet it run on internet. The difference between software and web application is , with the software you will have to update it manually , where as with web applications it updates automatically. In the first case if you reformat yours PC, you do not have to update G mail, it updates itself. This means every time you have secured G mail, it can be accessible from anywhere, any mediums like smart phones, etc. Most web browsers considers Web Pages and applications in the same manner, Google Chrome supports installable web apps. This mans faster browsing and early accessibility. If any installable web application can bundle all its content into zipped archive that users download. When they install the app, this is called the packaged applications. In chrome store, enhance yours Chrome experience with applications from the Chrome web store.

With Chrome web browser, both packaged and installed applications have short cuts making accessibility for the users with a click of a button. Chrome is updated regularly, so it supports the latest trends and fads of the internet. HTML5,APIs and WebGL all are latest web development and has been incorporated to Chrome. With Chrome the installable web apps needs to ask yours permission once in logging. In other browsers or in normal websites it needs to seek yours permission every time they perform notifications, Geo locations and so on.

Baby's Love Story In My Head lyrics

(Justin Bieber)
oooaaahhh oooaaahhh
oooaaahhh

Everybody's looking for love.Oh.Oh
Ain't that the reason you're at this club.Oh.Oh
You ain't gonna find it dancing with him.No.Oh
Got a better solution for you girl.Oh.Oh

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said

Baby, baby, baby ooh
Like
Baby, baby, baby noo
Like
Baby, baby, baby ohh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

In my head, I see you all over me.
In my head, you fulfill my fantasy.
In my head, your this criminal
In my head, it's going down
In my head, it's going down.

So, I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while

Oh oh
Cause you were Romeo, I was the scarlet letter
And my daddy said, "stay away from Juliet"
But you were my everything to me
I was begging you, please don't go
And I said

Baby, baby, baby ooh
Like
Baby, baby, baby noo
Like
Baby, baby, baby ohh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

In my head, I see you all over me.
In my head, you fulfill my fantasy.
In my head, your this criminal
In my head, it's going down
In my head, it's going down.

(Luda)
When I was 13, I had my first love
There was nobody compared to my baby
And nobody came between us, no one could ever come above
She had me going crazy, oh I was star-struck,
She woke me up daily, don't need no Starbucks(Woo! )
She made my heart pound, I skip a beat when I see her in the street
And at school on the playground but I really wanna see her on the weekend
She knows she got me dazing cuz she was so amazing
And now my heart is breaking but I just keep on saying...

Baby, baby, baby ohh
Like
Baby, baby, baby noo
Like
Baby, baby, baby ohh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

In my head, I see you all over me.
In my head, you fulfill my fantasy.
In my head, your this criminal
In my head, it's going down
In my head, it's going down.

Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad
Go pick out a white dress
It's a love story
Baby, just say yes

Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

All I Want Is You lyrics

[Justin Bieber]
Sitting here, all alone
Watching the snow fall
Looking back at the days
We threw them snow balls
I can't believe
I'm putting the tree up by myself
I need youuuu
And nobody else

And I'm sorry dear
If I pushed you away
Cuz I need to hear
And I want for you to know

And I don't care, if I don't get anything
All I need is you here right now
And i'm sorry if I hurt you
But I know that All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You this christmas

And I never wanna do this alone
Baby I just need you to be here
Here through the holidays
I just wanna know if you feel the same way
Because i'm lonely baby
Want you to hold me babyAnd I'm sorry
If I pushed you away
I just want you to know I miss you
And I want you to stay

And I don't care, if I don't get anything
All I need is you here right now
And i'm sorry if I hurt you
But I know that All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You this christmas

Wrapping gets without you babe
It's like mid december and there's no cold
I can't do this on my own
I've changed my ways
Keep running back and forth again
I'm here to stay

And I don't care, if I don't get anything
All I need is you here right now
And i'm sorry if I hurt you
But I know that All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You
This christmas, this christmas, this christmas
All I Want Is You this christmas

All I Want For Christmas Is You lyrics

(Mariah)
I Don't Want A Lot For Christmas
There Is Just One Thing I Need
I Don't Care About The Presents
Underneath The Christmas Tree
I Don't Need To Hang My Stocking
There Upon The Fireplace
Santa Claus Won't Make Me Happy
With A Toy On Christmas Day
I Just Want You For My Own
More Than You Could Ever Know
Make My Wish Come True
All I Want For Christmas Is You
You Baby
(Justin)
Oh
I Won't Ask For Much This Christmas
I Won't Even Wish For Snow
I'm Just Gonna Keep On Waiting
Underneath The Mistletoe
I Won't Make A List And Send It
To The North Pole For Saint Nick
I Won't Even Stay Awake To
Hear Those Magic Reindeer Click
'Cause I Just Want You Here Tonight
Holding On To Me So Tight

What More Can I Do
Cuz Baby All I Want For Christmas Is You

Oh-Ho
(Both)
All The Lights Are Shining
So Brightly Everywhere
And The Sound Of Children's
Laughter Fills The Air
And Everyone Is Singing
I Hear Those Sleigh Bells Ringing
Santa Won't You Bring Me The One I Really Need
Won't You Please Bring My Baby To Me

(Mariah)
Oh, I Don't Want A Lot For Christmas
This Is All I'm Asking For
I Just Want To See My Baby
Standing Right Outside My Door
Oh I Just Want Him For My Own
More Than You Could Ever Know
Make My Wish Come True
Baby All I Want For Christmas Is
You

All I Want For Christmas Is You Baby
All I Want For Christmas Is You Baby

Countries Suspecting Facebook

Data protection agencies in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland investigate Facebook related to the management of personal data of users of this social media.

Norwedia, Sweden, Denmark and Finland are also curious about the pictures uploaded by the user of Facebook.

Hans-Olof Lindblom, official at the Swedish data protection agency, through a written statement, stating that such action is usually taken to gain a better knowledge of how personal information is handled by Facebook.

AFP news agency reported that the Norwegian data protection agency, on behalf of the government in four countries, sent 45 questions to Facebook last week.

The questions cover the impact of the actions the user clicks on the "like" button and why the third parties can access users' name and email.

Governments in the four countries also asked what has been done with the pictures uploaded by users. They also ask why Facebook request users to enter their religion and sexual orientation.

Facebook is given time until the end of August to answer all questions as accurately as possible but with a format of no more than four sentences for each question.

Bjoern Erik Thon, Norway's official data protection agency, says he has a good relationship with Facebook. He acknowledges that Facebook is more transparent nowadays but it is still unclear what information is collected for and how informatithe on is handled.

Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook in 2004, last week he announced that users of social media has penetrated 750 million.

User data is an important part of Facebook revenue model. In the past, social media facing legal action related to the use of personal data from users.

I am pleased with this type of investigation. My country Indonesia is the second biggest user of Facebook. Facebook's answers will be meaningful for Facebook users.

Flight Attendant found dead

According to WBLT, a US Airways flight attendant based in Phoenix was found dead in a Mexico hotel while she was on a layover, police are treating the death as a possible homicide. The body of Nick Aaronson, 33 was said to be found early Saturday in his room at a Hilton hotel. The Mexico City’s prosecutor’s office said he was found unclothed on the floor with his hands tied behind his back, but showed no signs of beating or choking. Prosecutors said no drugs, weapons or messages were found but they are checking security cameras and autopsy has been planned.

Deborah Volpe, president of the Association of Flight Attendants Council said Aaronson was very popular and very well loved among the airlines based in Phoenix.

“It’s tragic,” Volpe told the Arizona Republic. “We are caring for our co-workers. We’re a tight-knit group in Phoenix.” A statement on the unions website says it doesn’t seem to be a safety breach at the hotel but crews will stay elsewhere temporarily while on layovers

Exploring and understanding oceans

It will take thousands of more years to fully understand and explore the oceans, but a start has to be made somewhere. The best day to focus on the importance of our oceans and to take action on critical issues affecting the oceans is the World Oceans day which falls on 8th of June each year. This day helps raise awareness on the problems faced by our oceans and compel governments and individuals to take immediate steps to protect our seas. The United Nations official declared in 2009 that World Ocean Day would be held on June 8 each year. Our oceans are at great danger and are in a state of "silent collapse" threatening entire world as our food supply, marine economies, recreation and the natural legacy we leave our children.

Save oceans - our collective approach

Oceans are main source of food to billions of people. We are familiarized with all types of seafood being islanders. There is a crying need to protect our seas irrespective of all petty differences such as racial, international or commercial backgrounds. Especially, from the youth from coastal communities. They are probably the best agents to spread the message on the importance of protecting the oceans because they have a close affinity to the sea. People even in landlocked countries can have access to fresh seafood. We should not forget that around 500 million people worldwide depend on the sea for a living, directly or indirectly. It is estimated that per capita consumption of fish worldwide is nearly 20 Kg. annually whilst around 90 million tonnes of fish are harvested annually from all seas worldwide. However, little noticed by many, the harvesting of aquatic plants (seawead) is also a growing industry.

Extinction of sea fish

According to latest findings, some fish species in deep seas may face extinction if fishing goes on at the current rates. The global catch of wild fish leveled off over 20 years ago and 70 percent of the world's fisheries are being harvested at capacity or are in decline or fast dwindling. This is where sustainable fishing comes in. Individuals can make a difference by avoiding fish placed on endangered lists. The other important factor for protecting the oceans is their sheer biodiversity. More new species are being discovered from the depths of the seas virtually every day, most of them quite bizarre. There could possible be tens of thousands of ocean species waiting to be discovered by scientists. Scientists believe that some of these species could have genetic properties that could be used for even medicinal purposes as well. We have to go a long way before we discover all the species inhabit the seas.

Over exploitation

The human activities are taking a terrible toll on the world's oceans and seas. Vulnerable marine ecosystems such as corals and important fisheries are being damaged by over exploitation, destructive fishing practices, invasive alien species and marine pollution. This trend is further worsening with increased sea temperatures, sea-level rise and ocean acidification caused by climate change pose a further threat to marine life, coastal and island communities and national economies. These apart, smuggling of illegal drugs and the trafficking of persons by sea are further examples of how criminal activities threaten the peace and security of the oceans. The existing legal framework to crack down hard on this type of activities must be further heightened at international level. Governments alone cannot protect the oceans and it is left to you to do your bit for the health of the oceans.

The Forgotten Victims of World War Two

Invasion of Poland: Barely two weeks after the German invasion of Poland, the Soviets also entered the conflict from the east, activating secret provisions of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact signed in August.

The excuse was the "liberation" of the Polish people. With this murderous intervention came the deaths of countless Polish soldiers and civilians, and this is only in the actual battle for Poland's east. The occupation after, as I will explain, claimed tens of thousands of further lives.

The staggering part of this story is that this area of eastern Poland invaded by the Soviets in 1939 is almost completely in the hands of Belarus and Ukraine today. Rather than being an intervention on humanitarian grounds, this annexation, when it was reclaimed by the Soviets in 1944-45, resulted in the dispossession of lands belonging to the Polish people.

The hypocrisy of a narrative that lambasts Germany but forgets the role of the Soviet Union in both allowing the Nazi invasion to take place and also its own individual acts of aggression and hostile occupation is obvious. Yet this window of history is continuously brushed to the side. I would also claim that only a minority of people today, even in the more liberal West, are aware of the circumstances in which it took place.

Occupation of Poland: This is clearly related to the invasion itself but deserves individual attention also. Vast swathes of Poland's intelligentsia, the officer class, doctors, lawyers and other professions, were systematically murdered by NKVD and other assorted communist cronies.

The mass collectivisation of private properly took place, and the petite bourgeoisie and the landowning classes faced considerable suffering. The destruction or confiscation of Jewish property by the Nazis serves as a horrendous example of human brutality, I agree, but the plight of Poland's private property owners at the hands of the Soviets needs acknowledgment. Once again, this is a fact lost on many leaders in European and other Western nations, let alone the populations they lead.

The point of the matter is that until the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, nearly two years of Soviet inhumanity unleashed itself on the Poles. It is time for ignorance of this to be rectified.

The Baltic States: Initially, most of the Baltic, barring Lithuania, would in Nazi hands following the 1939 invasion by the two aggressive powers. Eventually control of the whole area went to the Soviets.

Unfortunately, one must concede that knowledge of the Baltic's suffering is even more elusive than the Poles. Yet the memory of the occupation remains in the animosity of Baltic countries to the lack of contrition from the Soviets over the years for what occurred.

I have added this here out of respect for that forgotten part of history. But a process of forced collectivisation, murder and other forms of oppression certainly occurred. Like what the Poles are owed, justice should be sought however it can be in addressing history.

Persecution of Ethnic Minorities in Soviet Lands: Communities such as the Volga Germans, who were ironically found in and around Stalingrad, has existed in Russia for around two centuries, perhaps more. Many maintained their ancestral language, others did not. Most could be easily identified by a German surname.

When the Soviets faced catastrophe in 1941 and even at the dawn of the invasion, ethnic Germans were rounded up and faced arrest, deportation, slave labour or death at the hands of mobs or the NKVD and other state organs.

Knowing the immense suffering endured even by loyal Communist Party members who were accused and convicted of trumped-up charges during the Purges, it is not difficult to imagine the fates inflicted on Soviet Germans.

Moving away from the typical Nazi/non-Nazi dichotomy, huge interest continues to surface about the internment of Japanese-Americans during the Second World War. So if the liberally-minded West faces such scrutiny, it beggars belief why the Soviets avoid similar investigation. The facts are clearly there when one looks for them.

This is only compounded when we revert back to a study of the Nazis and their gut-wrenching policies of genocide and dispossession thrust upon many groups, including the Jews, Gypsies and many sub-strains of the Slavic peoples.

To argue that these Volksdeutsche as they are known were descended from a current enemy of the Soviets is irrelevant when we consider the responsibilities to prevent the unnecessary persecution and death of civilians. The standard of revulsion we apply to the Nazis should flow to our examination of particular Soviet racisms. The number of Russians cleansed by the Wehrmacht and SS were certainly higher than Soviet retaliations yet it is not a competition to demonstrate who killed more. The substance of the crimes in both cases were on par throughout the whole era.

What is macular degeration?

Macular degeneration is an eye disease that occurs after the destruction of central vision. Lesions occur in the macula, a small area located on the back of the eyeball. The macula is involved in the color and the detail of objects which are needed for central vision.
Central vision is needed in carrying out activities like reading, driving vehicles and recognition of individuals. Since macular degeneration affects no peripheral vision, blindness is not complete. The risk of developing macular degeneration increases at advanced age, starting with 50.
There are two forms of macular degeneration. Both forms affect only one eye, but if one eye is affected by it, the other one will most likely be affected too.

Dry macular degeneration (nonexudative) is the most common form (90% of cases). It occurs gradually and it doesn't often cause severe loss of vision. In this form, cells and blood vessels within the macula will be destroyed and will produce hypertrophic deposits (drusen) in the back of the eye. This causes damage to the macula and affects the ability to send messages to the brain. Central vision is gradually becoming weaker or increasingly blurred.

Wet macular degeneration (exudative) is less common, only 10% of cases. It can cause permanent damage to the macula during several months or even weeks. Exudative form occurs in cases where there is already the nonexudative form. It will cause the neoformation of blood vessels (abnormal) that are fragile. These vessels bleed and cause the destruction of the macula. They will also change the normal position of the macula, located in the back of the eye, thus destroying central vision.

Basis of Acupunture

The Chinese believe that there are 365 acupuncture points in the human body which corresponds to 365 days in a year. In addition there are 14 major meridian lines in the body. Out of these 12 are supposed to represent the 12 main organs of the body. The spine has one meridian aligned with it while another is supposed to be aligned with midline of the abdomen. This does sound out of context of modern medical thought. However Neuroimaging of the human body and further research does give a clue at the possibility that certain acupuncture points may have distinct effects that cannot be predictable anatomically.

Acupuncture theory as enunciated by the Chinese refers to an energy force called "Qi". This energy force is supposed to circulate throughout the human body. The circulation takes place through special pathways called Meridians or channels. The points that connect the body tissues to the organs through the meridians are called 'acupuncture points'. The Chinese believe that this energy force Qi needs to be free flowing for a person to be healthy. In case the flow of Qi is disturbed for any reason then an imbalance is created and is the cause of any subsequent illness. By Acupuncture therapy the Chinese believe that the imbalance is restored and once the energy force Qi is restored the patient recovers.

Acupuncture gives practical results for pain relief. Migraine, backache, period pain, arthritic and rheumatic pain, post-operative pain, and post-injury pain are known to be greatly reduced by use of this therapy. The Chinese believe that by inserting small needles at these points the process of restoring Qi can be commenced.

Essence of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is not just a simple method of inserting needles in the human body, but is a complex system that combines other complimentary techniques as well including Massage, Herbs, Moxibustion, laser devices etc. Acupuncture has greater effect along with usage of herbs. This is supposed to enhance the healing effects of acupuncture. Western scientists have tried to find a rationale for acupuncture points and the physiology behind it. But there are no clear cut answers available and it will not be wrong to say that this Chinese healing therapy defies logic.
Modern medicine cannot reconcile the Chinese concept of Qi, meridian system and their connection with various organs of the human body. But this form of alternative medicine is very much in vogue and the results are beyond expectations. Coming to Qi -what do the Chinese have to say about it? In simple parlance it is the life energy prevalent inside a human body. A combination of 3 factors like the air breathed in through the lungs, kidneys and the energy absorbed from food and water through the digestive system is the essence of Qi. This life force circulates throughout the body, and when flowing freely, the person remains in good health.
Acupuncture helps restore this life flow and is safe and effective and has no side effects of any type. It has been observed that after treatment a large majority of patients experience a sense of relief. In this connection its worth recounting an incident related by a friend. The man was suffering from sinusitis and no amount of allopathic me dices helped him get a permanent cure. He was recommended by a friend who advised him to try acupuncture. Subsequently after one sitting itself the patient recovered and till date there is no recurrence. Needles being seen inserted in the body may give the feel that this process is full of pain.
But in reality it is virtually a painless affair. There are some mild sensations like tingling, numbness, electrical pulsations in areas distant from the site of insertion. Once the needles are removed the sensations ease off. Acupuncture needles are very small in size compared to standard hypodermic needles. They are sold and cannot be used to draw blood. In the United States this form of medicine came quite late, but is increasing in popularity. A large number of Americans are now having a look at treatment through acupuncture. An important plus point in this type of therapy is that the role of drugs and medicines s is completely obviated as the treatment involves an attempt to stimulate the body's own resistance mechanism. Side effects are also a big zero.

Why Do I Have Morning Breath When I Wake Up?

Have you ever noticed that many of the romantic movies usually show the newlyweds or single couples waking up in the morning hugging and kissing each other before they even get up to freshen up their mouth?

You are probably thinking to yourself, I wonder do they have bad breath? Because they did not even get up to freshen up their mouth before they started kissing each other.

Oh well, I guess it ready doesn't matter since they are so much in love. But, that's only in the movies. In reality the first thing that couples and spouses do when they wake up is, to go straight to the bathroom to brush their teeth, then they hug and kiss each other.

What is morning breath? Morning breath is the bad odor from your mouth when you wake up ,also known as dry mouth.

Some of the symptoms of morning breath are; bad breath, dry mouth, a dry tongue with a bitter taste and feeling thirsty.

What is the cause of morning breath? The cause of morning breath is lack of saliva and plaque bacteria ( a clear sticky film that forms on the tooth surfaces, gums and the tongue.

Why is the saliva so important to the mouth? The role of the saliva is to keep the mouth, tongue and throat moisten and lubricated. Saliva is also needed to help wash away the plaque bacteria and debris from the mouth to prevent bad breath, tooth decay, periodontal disease, infections, heal mouth sores and to help heal surgical areas.

You can help prevent morning breath by doing the following;

1. Brush and floss your teeth.
2. Clean your tongue and rinse your mouth with a alcohol-free mouth rinse before going to bed.

3. Place breath mints, breath spray and oral care strips on your night stand to help keep your mouth moist while you are asleep.

4. Most of all, keep a bottle of water near your beside for you to take a few sips of it when you wake up in the morning.

Treatment of Eczema

Eczema is generally used to connote the many kinds of skin diseases suffered by a person. When a person has dry skin patches on the skin and it itches, then there is a high likelihood that the person is suffering from some kind of eczema. There are four general kinds of eczema: contact dermatitis, xerotic eczema, actopic eczema and seborrhieic dermatitis. Treatment for eczema can be anything from creams and oils to anti-bacterial pills.

There are also some other kinds of eczema which is not so prevalent among the people. These include discoid eczema, dermatitis herpetiformis and autoeczematization. Any kind of eczema will usually cause the skin to irritate. A lot of eczema sufferers will end up worsening the situation by scratching the rash and spread it further to other parts of the body. Eczema is also likely to be hereditary so the chances of a person getting eczema are higher if any family member also suffers from it.

People searching for long term treatment for eczema understand the embarrassment and pain of this skin disease. Sufferers try every available method to get rid of the problem but often end up unsuccessful. This is because most of the off the shelf medications only treat the symptoms of eczema and does not cure the disease at its root.

However if the person visits a dermatologist in search of treatment for eczema then a more positive outcome is likely to be. A dermatologist will be able to explain what kind of eczema the person is suffering from and the correct treatment needed.

Before he does that, the dermatologist will likely study the patient’s medical history to find out the kind of eczema the person is suffering from. This is also to ensure that patient is given the right medication to treat the root cause of the disease.

Treatment for eczema is not likely to be just from one treatment. Often a combination of treatments is need to effective treat the disease at its root. This could possibly include changing the patient’s lifestyle habits to prevent future contractions of the disease.

The type of treatment for eczema is dependent on various factors including the patient’s skin type, the kind of eczema, patient’s medical history and allergies and past treatments done. Frequently, some cream based ointment will be given to treatment the surface or symptoms of eczema, while pills will be given to control the hormone and battle internal infections. If the skin lesions are too severe, then a photo-therapy session may be needed to cure the skin disorder.

Treatment for eczema has come a long way and now almost all cases of even the most severe eczema can be treated successfully. However, eczema is very difficult to keep away for long. It is a stubborn disease which just refuses to go away. A good way to prevent future cases of eczema is for the patient to know his lifestyle habits and what will cause the eczema to return. Avoiding these conditions will help minimize the disease returning.

Mistletoe.mp3 with lyrics - Justin Bieber

Mistletoe lyrics

Aye, it's the most beautiful time of the year,
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

I don't wanna miss out on the holiday,
But I can't stop staring at your face,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe, yeah.

Everyone's gathering around the fire,
Chestnuts roasting like a hot July,
I should be chillin' with my folks, I know,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

Word on the streets Santa's coming tonight,
Reindeer flying thru the sky so high,
I should be making a list, I know,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe,
Yeaaa.

With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe.
Hey love, the Wise Men followed a star,

The way I followed my heart,
And it led me to a miracle.

Aye love, don't you buy me nothing,
'Cause I am feeling one thing,
Your lips on my lips,
That's a Merry Merry Christmas.

It's the most beautiful time of the year,
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

I don't wanna miss out on the holiday,
But I can't stop staring at your face,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.

With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe.

With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe, yeah.

Kiss me underneath the mistletoe,
Show me baby that you love me so,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe,
Show me baby that you love me so,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

Who's that Girl (Guy Sebastian) - Lyrics and Song

Who's That Girl lyrics

I was on the mic
Doing my thing on a friday night
Had the floor burning up just right
Everybody was bumping', the club was jumping
Suddenly, you walked in
That's when everybody stopped dancing
And I couldn't stop myself staring
Yeah I couldn't breath, No I couldn't believe my eyes

I never thought I'd fall in love in a club
But now I seen you girl I can't get enough
With you I know there's no taking it slow
So can somebody please let me know

[Chorus]
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk), walk walk (walk), yeah

Before the night is through
Imma tell ya how I feel about you
And I know I got some work to do
To make you believe that you should be leaving with me

I never thought I'd fall in love in a club
The more I get of you, I can't get enough
I won't be letting you leave here alone
So can somebody please let me know

[Chorus]
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk), walk walk (walk)

All them other chicks might as well move over
Wanna know my name then you gotta get closer
Eyes on you too wanna get to know ya
Lemme run it down for ya, I'm not easy
Some say caramel, you can call me evie
Wanna be the man in my life that please me
Gotta warn in, Once ya know me, you need me
Give you whip lash when I glide through the room
Five inch heals, watch how I move
Watch how I shake it to the beat, how I do
Know you wanna feel me, feel me shake it on you, yeah
The night could get crazy
But I gotta hold back, I'm a lady
Well who knows maybe I could be your baby
Be your baby, be your baby

[Guy]

[Chorus]
So, tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club

Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Tell me who's that girl
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club
Just walk walk (walk) in the club

Telcos refused to implement the 20% discount in sms

Philippines, 12/01/2011, 11:22 AM - the three telecommunications network provider (Globe Telecom, Smart Communication and Sun Cellular) has failed to implement the NTC Order to reduce the interconnection charge for regular texting to other networks. As of the moment of writing this article, they are still charging Php 1 to their subscribers instead of the 80 centavos directive from NTC. The Circular Order was supposed to be effective last November 30, 2011, Wednesday but Telcos refused to lower down their sms rate for regular texting stating that they have already lowered down their interconnection charges ever since because of their unlimited promos. But NTC reiterated that the order is applicable to regular texting and not to the unlimited texting promos of each network provider. NTC will investigate on this matter why telcos refused to implement the circular order.
