Red Mobile offers unlimited service

Red Mobile, a new player in telecommunication business offers a competitive unlimited service to Philippines subscribers. Before, this company was known as CURE which is on an invitation mode only. Meaning to be a subscriber you must first be invited by the company before given the simcard. On March 25, 2008, PLDT acquired most of the shares of CURE and later on its name was changed to Red Mobile.

In my own personal assessment, I think Red Mobile was Smart Communications ace in competing with Sun Cellular unlimited package. As of now its doing great because the company offers a 4 peso denomination red to red unli for 1 day or 6 peso denomination to be able to avail for the unlimited call and text service for 1 day. No other company has ever offered such a low price not even Sun Cellular which pioneered the unlimited service in the Philippines. If you want a 1 week or 7 days unlimited you can just choose between a 28 peso denomination for unlimited text (red) or a 56 peso denomination for unlimited call and text plan.
