Destressing By Pinpointing Stress Factors

Pinpoint what your biggest stress factors are by keeping a pen and paper handy and jotting down every time something occurs that stresses you out over the course of two to three days. Write it down as it occurs so you won't forget what you were stressed out about and why.

Stress often comes from the feeling of not being in control of the situation and can stem from over sleeping and being late for work, a child that misses the school bus, from an overly demanding boss, cranky spouse or an over-scheduled afternoon of errands to run.

After a couple days of note keeping, you will be able to see a pattern of the specific things that really gets you stressed out.
